We ask our suppliers to the highest quality standards that represent a key point of differentiation for product excellence Moncler.
For Moncler, but "quality" is something more.
It is in fact essential for us also the origin of the feather we use.
With the aim of ensuring compliance of the animals, our suppliers are contractually obliged to respect the following principles at all levels of their supply chain:
feather must be derived exclusively from geese reared and from the food chain
animals must be treated without causing any form of suffering
It is not allowed any form of live plucking
feather should not result from force-fed animals
Moncler, in collaboration with experts from prominent universities, research institutes, certification bodies and non-governmental organization that deals with the protection of animals on farms, has developed a protocol to which suppliers must adhere scrupulously to guarantee the full respect animal, traceability and the highest quality throughout the supply chain Feather: from farms to the processing companies of the same feather.
Moncler is constantly involved in the certification process of its supply chain through the field verification of compliance with the proper protocol. In order to ensure maximum impartiality, the certification work has been entrusted to a qualified independent body whose work is in turn subject to the scrutiny of an outside body accredited.
We strongly believe that the requirements to ensure high standards of quality to us of Moncler and especially to you, our customers.
But we do not stop there and, like everything we do, we will continue to do our best, keeping you updated.
